Privacy policy
Planchet ("the app", "we") is a personal work assistant made up of an iOS app, a web app and the server behind them. This policy explains what data is collected when you use Planchet, what it is used for, who it is shared with and how you can delete it. Data controller: Hüzeyfe Burak Arslan (PCD Cooperation). Contact: hburak@pcdcooperation.com.
Data we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, sign-in method (email and password, Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google) and the profile details and preferences you enter in the app (preferred name, role, working hours, brief time and similar).
- Gmail (only if you connect it): message headers, senders and recipients, message bodies and attachment names, and drafts prepared for sending.
- Google Calendar and Apple Calendar (only if you connect them): event titles, times, attendees, locations and descriptions. Apple Calendar is read on your iPhone; the next 30 days are transferred.
- Contacts (only if you allow it): names, email addresses and phone numbers, company, job title and birthday of your contacts.
- Conversations, tasks and files: what you type or say to the assistant, files you upload, and the tasks, notes and documents you create.
- Other connections (only if you connect them): GitHub (issues, pull requests and commits of repositories you select; read-only), Zoom (meetings and transcripts), LinkedIn (the profile or export file you upload), İTÜ Ninova/OBS (courses, assignments and grades; your credentials are stored encrypted).
- Device information: your iPhone's push notification token, so we can send you notifications.
We do not collect data for advertising, tracking or analytics, and the app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
How we use data
Your data is used only to provide Planchet's features to you: preparing your daily brief, finding emails that need a reply and commitments you made, drafting replies in your style, preparing you for meetings, finding free time, managing your tasks and reminders, and answering your questions. The assistant never sends email, changes your calendar or assigns tasks to others on its own; these happen only when you approve them in the app.
Google user data and Limited Use
Planchet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Gmail and Calendar data is:
- used only to provide and improve the user-facing features you see in the app;
- not transferred to others except as needed to provide these features, for security, or to comply with applicable law;
- not used for advertising and never sold;
- not read by humans, except with your explicit consent, for security or abuse investigations, or as required by law;
- not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Who we share data with
Your data is never sold. It is shared only with the following service providers, and only as needed to run the service:
- Supabase (hosting and database, European Union / Frankfurt): your account and data are stored here, in a database schema dedicated to you.
- AI model provider (DeepSeek): to answer a request or prepare a brief or draft, the necessary text (for example the relevant email or event) is sent to the model and a response is returned.
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: when you listen to your brief or an assistant reply, the text to be read aloud is sent for speech synthesis.
- Apple: notifications are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service; Sign in with Apple goes through Apple; voice input uses the iPhone's speech recognition.
- Web search: when the assistant searches the web, only the search query is sent to the search service.
- Services you connect (Google, GitHub, Zoom, İTÜ): their APIs are accessed with your authorization to read your data.
- Your organization: if you join an organization, the tasks, projects and decisions you share there are visible to its members. Your email, calendar, contacts and personal conversations are not shared.
We do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.
Storage and security
- Data is encrypted in transit with TLS; connection tokens and passwords are additionally stored encrypted.
- Each user's data is kept separate; your assistant can access only your data.
- Your data is kept for as long as your account is open. When you remove a connection, the data that came from it is deleted.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all of your data in the app under Settings → Delete account. You can remove individual connections under Settings → Connections, and revoke Google access separately on the Google account permissions page. For access, correction, deletion or objection requests under GDPR or Turkey's KVKK, email hburak@pcdcooperation.com.
Children
Planchet is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date on this page and notify you in the app of significant changes.
